2021 PNWD Annual Leadership Conference: Resiliency!
- March 13, 2021
- Time: 9:00am – 1:00pm
It’s a new year. There is a new president. There are new strains of COVID. There are new geopolitical crises. And, if you are like me, there are new questions about how we “be the church.”
There’s no question that pressure has increased, but we don’t have to be overwhelmed by it or paralyzed by it. This is what our speaker wants to address at District Leadership Conference: Resilient Ministry. This is not just a principle for pastors its for all of us involved in regular ministry, that means key volunteers and especially, perhaps, pastor’s wives. We encourage you to join us:
Date: March 13th, 2021 (Saturday)
Time: 9:00 -1:00
We have settled on a virtual format, as there is still a lot of uncertainty around COVID and the vaccines. We know that some people don’t prefer online, we also know that Zoom fatigue is a real thing, yet we believe this will be a life-giving time for participants, so please look past the format to the message and opportunity to be encouraged in your walk with Jesus.
There will be two teaching session that will have a time of direct instruction, a time for “break-out” conversations between participants, and an opportunity for feedback and questions and answers. If you want one snapshot, you can listen to this 30-minute interview: TIU Forward Podcast. (If you are like some and want to skip the preliminaries, the material pertaining to “Resilient Ministry” starts at about the 13 minute point.)
We will need to have a business session during this time as well to address the budget, elections, and the change of language to the District Statement of Faith to align with the National Statement of Faith.
We feel like the topic is exceedingly timely, we are excited about the message, we are excited to connect with you, so we really encourage you to join us.
Grace and Peace,
The District Board
