2018 PNWD Refresh Conference at SunRiver

  • November 1, 2018 to November 4, 2018
  • Time: All Day

Most of us are fully aware of how taxing ministry can be on our emotional reserves and relational capacity.  In order to offer tangible support to you in ministry and fulfill our mandate to nurture healthy ministry through healthy ministers, we heartily invite you to join us at Sunriver on November 1-4 for Refresh. Refresh is a retreat designed particularly for ministry leadership couples.

The registration deadline for this event is October 1st. “Early bird” registration ends on September 15th. To register, please call the Sunriver Resort directly at 800-547-3922.  When you call please identify yourself as being with the “Pacific NW District of the Evangelical Free Church of America – Couples Retreat.”  Sunriver will ask you to hold your reservation with a credit card payment.

The long weekend is a wonderful and needful opportunity to reconnect as couples, with ministry colleagues and with our God in a way that nurtures our spiritual vitality and emotional health. This year our speaker is Dr. Gary Oliver.   Dr. Oliver was with us three years ago and people are still discussing the impact that his ministry had on them. Dr. Oliver is a well-known Christian speaker and author and we are delighted that he will be with us to share from his rich experience of life in ministry.

On site check-in begins at 4:00 PM on Thursday afternoon in the Sunriver Resort Lobby.  Throughout the weekend (Thursday afternoon until Sunday at noon) there will be shared meals, worship, teaching and plenty of free time.

The cost will be $430.00.00 per couple.  If you have a significant financial concern that you think might prevent you from attending, you may contact me directly or speak with your Regional Overseer.  We want this to be a time of refreshment for everyone.

By His Grace,

Jeff Sickles, Chairman
